Shiseido’s top hair and makeup artist, Tadashi Harada, has partnered with Original Stitch and Pokémon Shirts to create a unique look for the second launch of Pokémon Shirts Hoenn Region Fabrics. His challenge was to portray the image of Pokémon through hair, makeup and fashion.
The first Pokémon brought to life by Tadashi Harada is the character Groudon, a legendary Pokémon said to be the incarnation of the earth. He interpreted Groudon’s strength and fierceness in his own unique way, and reflected the distinctive red and black color scheme of its body in his hair and makeup design. The finished visual is not only powerful, but also delicate and beautiful.
"I am very honored to have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in partnership with Pokémon Shirts! I love working on a look that reflects the world of Pokémon, which is loved by many fans of all ages around the world. The goal for this look was to challenge the possibilities of beauty expression through the lens of Pokémon."
